Q Magazine - Baure Media
Q magazine claim that their "Audience is composed of passionate, engaged and open minded music fans driven to continually discover new music - and to use this lust for discovery to influence their friends. The audience is split 75% male to 25% female and is affluent (with 68% ABC1)."

Summary Of Reader Profile
NME magazine published their reader profile in a colorful college form which attracts the viewer and demonstrates a specific target audience by the usage of a variety of pictures portraying what their readers would be interested in and what activities they involve themselves in. Their target audience seemed male dominates not only from he figures shown but also by the imagery of stereotypical male interests such as gaming, bear and sports brands.

Yet Q magazines reader profile was presented simplistically in a paragraph addressing who their predominant reader is which is male by the figures shown.

My reader profile
Image provided -
From the image used my reader profile is going to be balanced between male and female readers who are aged between 16-30. I'm targeting readers who are not only intellegant and have a passion for music but are outgoing and interested in up to date current events in music.
I'm targeting this group as it seems clear that other magzines have a more male dominante reader profile which is why I want to create a magazine which females also find intersting and would buy on a regualr basis. Also, these are readers who involve them selves in current events and would go out and join in, for example go to gigs and festival to support their favorite artists and embrace the atmosphere.
